Majjige saru /buttermilk rasam is as the name says rasam using buttermilk. After they start crackling, add curry leaves, red chillies, ginger garlic paste, hing, powdered fenugreek seeds, turmeric and saute them a little bit. Further add 1 cup water, few curry leaves, ½ tsp salt and mix well.

Actual Method Of Making Paladya/Majjige Huli Is By Grinding Coconut And Soaked Channa Dal, Adding It To Buttermilk And Boiling It.
Its a quick method of doing majjige huli. Dry roast the pepper and cumin seeds and grind them to a fine powder. Add ½ cup water and blend to smooth paste.
